Recipe for Success
Thought Ask Image Intend
Thought: It always begins with a thought. Thoughts are a form of meditation. How often in a day do you find yourself thinking about something that isn’t going the way you want it to in your life? Usually we focus on what we don’t want. If you shift your thoughts to what you do want, then you begin laying the foundation for change.
Ask: Ask God, (The Divine, Greater Power, Buddha, Krishna or any other name you have for the power that is greater than your own). Simply say, “ I would like to ____ and I ask for your help and guidance in assisting me to attain this. Thank you.”
Image: Begin seeing yourself with it. Put it up on an image board. Cut out photos of that thing you’ve asked for and paste it on to your board. If it’s a new car go to the dealership and drive it. If it’s a role on Broadway, purchase the CD and start singing the songs and visualize yourself on the stage. If it’s healing from a disease start visualizing yourself completely whole. Scientists have proven the brain can’t tell the difference between a thought and what we call “reality”.
Intend: Then simply make it your intention. Do not allow a moment of doubt, fear, worry to enter your mind — and that means, your own or anyone else’s. Every time you have a thought that doesn’t line up with what you’ve asked for. Simply say, “Okay, I hear you, but I fully intend to manifest ____ into my life.”. If it’s someone saying this to you, quietly say it to yourself. Then go back to the image you have of your success. Soon this image will become more real than any doubts you may have had about it.
This is much easier to do when you realize you don’t have to do it alone. You can employ The Higher Being to be your Co-Creator. There’s a passage in the bible that says, “With God all things are possible”, Matthew 18:27. Whatever name you have for God: The Divine, The Greater Power, Higher Being, Buddha, Krishna, or any other name it remains true — All things are possible; healing, employment, restored relationships, freedom from addiction, freedom from depression…it’s all possible with God!
