Professional Bio

A renaissance actor for the twenty-first century, Alexandra Foucard is setting her own boundaries. The New York based actor, born in Haiti, considers herself to be amalgamation of cultures and ethnicities with a big dollop of spirituality.  Alexandra believes as artists we not only have an obligation to tell each others’ stories, but we also have a responsibility to extend our reach to help those whose voices are yet to be heard.

Ms. Foucard is an accomplished actress whose work has been seen on stages all over the country including several on Broadway.  Many of Alexandra’s roles have brought her great accolades including an NAACP Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Play; a Grammy Nomination for Best Cast Recording; and two Helen Hayes Nominations just to name a few.   Ms. Foucard’s stage credits include Adelaide in Guys and Dolls the 50th Anniversary Company, opposite Maurice Hines; and Fantine in the Broadway production of Les Miserables.

Set of OFFSEAON

Alexandra is collaborating with an amazing writer and composer, David Sisco. Together they are creating  a play with music and incorporating an exceptional artist, mother, and Broadway legend who's origin was Haitian, like Ms. Foucard.  Alexandra is also creating a sitcom which she's thrilled to share.
